About Us

Efficiency Assessments was founded in 1997 and was the first business in Australia dedicated to building energy efficiency.  We were amongst the first accredited assessors as our experience predates accreditation. We were trained one-on-one by John Ballinger, one of the forefathers of our industry.  

Our story did not start there.  We are a family owned and operated  business with Kevin (shown above) starting an energy efficient building company with Suzanne in 1979. His principles were sound and his brochures include principles that we still use today. Scott and Rebecca grew up on building sites and Rebecca founded Efficiency Assessments with Scott joining soon after. We are all still involved with Scott now being our expert in the current building thermal comfort environment.

Our Experience is not just limited to building thermal comfort and energy efficiency.
